One thing that should also be pointed out is that numbers are a powerful thing and four of the five winners were entrants who retweeted the contest in exchange for additional entries. In fact, @Paulinepppp won twice, so we had to go back on that one.

To be honest with a book like Pride and Prejudice and Zombies going up for grabs, there was no doubt in our minds that we’d see a, uhm. rabid interest from fans of both romance novels and monster mash-ups alike. The A Novel Romance Twitter account sure got more traffic in those few days than it had at any other point to date.

In fact, the whole contest was such a whirlwind that we’re not announcing our next contest until after this week as we need a little break from all that action. We have to get back to what this site is all about – romance novel reviews and the past two contests have been taking us away from just that.
