Radio Killed The Romance, or at Least Regulated It

Cheating Girl Gets Publicly Dumped

We’re not naive enough to believe in blind love. Sure, everyone that reads romance novel reviews wishes love stories were like those in the pulps piling up on the old book shelf. But let’s face it – the romance novel industry is a multi-million dollar industry for a reason. Unfortunately, the radio show you are going to hear is part of that reason.

To take a positive perspective on the matter, try and consider yourself lucky if you do have a solid mate in your life. There is no lewd language in this sound bite, so feel free to listen to it at work…and above all, try and laugh.

Sure, the outcome is pretty hardcore, but in the end, we know who the heel is.

Free Stuff Front:

We had no idea just what kind of freaky feeding frenzy to expect when we announced our Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, but for those of you who haven’t entered yet, there is precious little time left. We have 5 copies to hand out.

Romance Novel Review from Lucy:

I’d have to say that what endeared me right away to Christe Ridgway’s Dirty Sexy Knitting was Cassie, I guess because she reminds me of a special someone in my family. Sure, it’s not always the best thing to be the type who say yes all the time, but who doesn’t love a sweetheart? Seeing what others go through in this novel, I’d say Cassie’s presence is very welcome.

DirtySexyKntting by Christie Ridgway is a good read, but at time I found a couple of elements of the story a little far-fetched. More care could have been put into some of the plot, but the flow makes some oversights forgivable. Considering the heavy tone of Gabe’s struggles, I feel more care could also have been put into developing how he comes along.

Overall, Dirty Sexy Knitting still makes for a good follow up to How to Knit a Wild Bikini and Unravel Me, rounding things out just right. Speaking of those two books, I’d strongly recommend picking up all three for your next vacation.”
